People attempt to frame a thing they do not understand with words. They will seek truth. But the truth always carries the ambiguity of the words used to express it.

Beware of the truth. Although much sought after, truth can be dangerous to the seeker. Myths and reassuring lies are much easier to find and to believe. If you find a truth, even a temporary one, it can demand that you make painful changes. Conceal your truths within words. Natural ambiguity will protect you then. Words are much easier to absorb than are the sharp Delphic stabs of wordless portent.

Thoughts?

any mode of communication is fraught with ambiguity but, since we have not generally perfected telepathy, we'll just have to contend. If by truth you mean fact, there is never a need to fear it. However, if you meant truth as in reality, you're chasing a chimea.

So, to be safe I am to believe nothing?
Not being sarcastic here.
Or I can believe I have the truth but I must hide it to keep it safe?
That's what I'm getting. More explanation please.
Okay taking another shot: If you find the truth you likely have to change, which you don't want to do, so instead hide the truth in words, therefore tricking yourself and everyone else and you won't have to accept it.????

I think we have to understand first what is false to see the truth.

Words are only descriptions, it is just a marker about what is true.

I think we should not be afraid to see the truth. It is the only solution to set us free from ignorance.

But we cannot find truth positively, we have to see all the false as false to arrive to what is true.

Remember the false is always divisive or fragmented, its fruits are for the few, its duration is limited.

Truth is always wholly(no one is left behind) and its duration is unlimited.

Intresting question. Intentions are the key in my belief. If you mean good then you mean good. If you mean something other than good then there lay the fruits of your intentions. But then this depends on something else too, in my beliefs; do you know what you are doing? Do you really know what you are doing? Perhaps take that into consideration. For example, if you think you are doing good but are at fault but your not awair that you are at fault, is there not hope?

Facts change! Truth is fixed. It always reveals itself, no matter how nicely put are the words otherwise.

Jesus said, "I AM the way, the truth, and the life." This puts an interesting slant on the definition of truth.

.There is no written truth...Only the singular dimensional interpretation of an event recalled by the survivors, which is already warped by the perception of something that is now in the past.

Why fear, of all things, truth?

I will not try to conceal my truths, they are for everyone who wants them.

I will protect myself best I can, thanks for the warning.
