If a mother chooses to kill her baby is she still a mother after the last heart beat?

I really hate to read things like this. I do not know how old you are but I am a lot older than you and there was a time if you were expecting a baby you had it and no matter how much you did not want a baby once you would hold that baby you would love for the rest of your life, I know I have one that is in her 40,s now that I did not expect but she has always been a joy to her whole family, and I thank god I never had a change to make that decision I may have done the wrong thing and she would never been in are liefs.

Are you talking about a *baby* or a non-viable fetus? Don't be extremist - talking smack is not going to win anyone over to your point of view.

A baby is someone that has been born, even prematurely, but can exist outside the womb, even if it requires the aid of some machines until its body can function on its own.

A non-viable fetus is a embryonic collection of tissue that simply cannot survive outside the womb. And most of the fetuses used for stem cell research come from the extra fetuses that do not make it when a women gets in-vitro fertilization. It gets miscarried, essentially, it's not going to live anyway. So it might as well be donated to save thousands of lives.

Stem cell research is very important and will help millions of people. What don't you like about that??

Do you like children born into already crowded homes where they are not wanted or cared for? Unwanted children end up in fostor care or juvenile homes.

There are women that get pregnant and do not want the child. BUT they will not consider abortion or adoption. They don't feel that either is right. The child ends up abused and God knows what else. You can tell me that child would not have been better off going back to heaven than to live a life of hell here on earth??

This question doesn't belong in elections either.

This question is'nt totally fair to the mothers who have agonized over abortion, if the baby would have no quality of life, if the mother was risking her life continuing with the pregnancy, especially if she had other kids depending on her, there's a multitude of ifs and buts. I don't agree with abortion just for the sake of it, if a baby is a "mistake". Only then could I give an honest "no" to your question.
