Chances are you are seeing them but just don't realise it, if you see more than a pair together the the excess will be the young. the tails being shorter being the give away sign to which is which.

I`ve never really thought about it but you don`t do you? They`re horrible birds though. Eat anything and everything, even take other birds chicks out of the nests. I`d shoot `em if I could.

They look alot like thier mom and dad. They are typically found in very stickery bushes like wild plumb bushes and so unless you frequent those bushes, you might miss them. They are very cool birds and I miss them since I now live in So Cal where there are nearly none.

Because they hide well, that is why there are still some around, not like other species, that keep getting rarer
