I believe in magic. Magic can be in the form of anything, from david copperfield, to sitting in a meadow at dusk. I do also believe in the kind of magic that you are talking about...not sorcerors or anything, but i am wiccan, so as far as movement of energy and using it to alter your surroundings i do. fairies and elves i don't really believe in, but i wouldnt say that they didnt exist, i have just never seen any. I believe in spirits as well. They are around us all the time, its just that most people cannot see them. sensitives and children are usually those who are more in tune to the spiritual plane. Adults tend to believe what they want to believe, and most people refuse to see things like that unless they have cold hard evidence for proof. I noticed your name was snape something? are you a harry potter fan? Of lot of harry potter has roots in mythology as well as in wicca. It is a work of fiction though, so dont think that a lot of things they do on there actually work. real magic is different.

I believe you call your own magic into existence if you so choose: Ever have one of those moments where it felt like the universe existed solely so you could be there at that given time enjoying that particular moment? An especially glorious day spent with people you enjoy, a warm summer evening spent with tasty beverage in hand at a place with truly excellent live music, the unexpected discovery of a mind-bogglingly perfect new word just when you need it - those things can be "magic," even more so if you try your best to pay attention so you can appreciate them when they're actually occurring rather than realizing after the fact what a truly -special- experience you've had.

Er, or if you're thinking more of the 'elves, wizards, dragons' type of magic - heck yeah, I believe in them, if only because it makes me -happy- to do so. I may never come face-to-face with a dragon but my personal universe is far happier because I allow myself to believe that they -are- out there somewhere =)

There's all SORTS of magic in the universe if you let it happen!

Magic - No such thing. It's a mockery. It's pulling a rabbit out a hat. That sort of thing. Magick - now that's a different matter. Of course there is such a thing! As for the elves and fairies, i would consider it more beings of nature. Wizards and witches - just ordinary people who have to ability to perform spells. Dwarfs - well they are real people! you never seen one? I'm young and very lazy so i don't have the energy or patience to perform spells but i do try:)

Yes I do.

Although I don't believe you can find them under your bed or in your closet on a regular basis.

And magic is definitely real, active, and mutable by human beings.

No..I'm sorry to say that you have been experiencing what we like to call "hallucinations" if you have ever encountered any of those so-called "creatures". I'm not speaking directly to you, but everyone in general. If you are experiencing these hallucinations, I beg you to get a doctor to examine this. You could end up in the asylum if you aren't careful...Have a great, LOGICAL day.
