Very eloquent lawyers, one of which was on TV recently recounting the experience. It destroyed his life. When asked whether OJ was guilty, the man replied .. YOU know he's guilty, I know he's guilty and OJ knows he's guilty! He's guilty!

He had lots of money and Jonnie Cochran for a lawyer. That and the fact that the L.A. Police Department was proven to have planted evidence. I personally feel that he's guilty, but the prosecution's case was made weak by incopetence of the police involved.

Because the police corrupted one piece of the evidence -- it called everything else into doubt. And also b/c he had the best lawyers his money could buy.

He had very good lawyers. Also, the jury was blinded by race and celebrity, and did not consider that the evidence against him was overwhelming.
