I actually saw some footage showing both of these animals fighting, and the result was surprising.

Hard to say. The grizzly bear has more stregth, but the mountain lion is alot quicker and has the advantage of pouncing on the bear from a higher point. I would say the mountain lion.

I think it would depend on the fight.....generally speaking I would tend to say Grizzly because of his sheer size.....swings a hell of a punch too.......though I would think if the cougar attacked first from the rear he could bring a grizzly down. I would love to know on what program you saw the attack, that would be pretty cool to watch.
