I think what will happen is the next time you set up a timer, you'll get a message saying that you're out of space on your hard drive and need to deleted some programs. I usually tape whatever I want to keep, and then get it off immediately to save up space.

it will but if you dont want it to all you have to do is go into the shows you want to keep and there should be an option with something to the nature of dont delete until i say so or somehting along those lines

yup make sure you catch up! you can always set the recording to 1st run and repeats - so if you do have to delete it will record on the rerun of the show!

yes it will start deleting the oldest shows in your recorded items.
