My mother thought it would be a great idea for me to be Aunt Jemima.... uh and I should mention I'm white.
Mom, can we say racist...
Anyway, she couldn't get the makeup worked out so I was Sherlock Holmes instead.

I consider myself extremely lucky that none were embarrassing as a child. I remember the hot plastic masks that came with the costumes in the 80s. The one that bugged me the most was my Little House on the Prairie Laura Ingalls Wilder costume. The mask kept slipping & would cover my nose and/or mouth so I couldn't breathe good.

many years in the past my husband became so excited because we were invited to an human being gown party on Halloween evening. He suggested he needed to make our costumes yet he does not tell me what he became making. I wasn't too apprehensive about it because my husband is quite imaginitive. nicely, the evening of the party got here and my husband made me close my eyes and go out contained in the storage to confirm our costumes. I opened my eyes and became very very much shocked to confirm 2 halves of a Crayola crayon container. So, I spent the entire evening stuck interior a damn container without arm holes. only a hollow for my head to poke by the best. It became lovable yet more effective for like a 5 year old. i became embarrassed on the party yet everyone idea our gown became humorous.

When I was 2 my parents were too poor to buy me a good halloween costume so they cut holes out of a pampers box, stuffed me in and dragged me around town like that.

my mom dressed my brother up as Holly Hobbie when he was 3 years old. he had a prairie hat and dress on. good blackmail photos now that he's an adult
