Under what conditions does the clicking happen? When turning the steering wheel? when going over bumps? When accelerating? When braking?
Yes struts are supposed to be changed in pairs. Kinda like brakes. You don't want one good strut and one old worn out strut on the front or back of the car.
The clicking can be anyone of the following since we don't know when it clicks.
BALL JOINT
CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS
TIE RODS
RACK N PINION
CV JOINTS.
It all depends on when it happens and what your doing to make it happen.
And you didn't say a make or model

definite, its an 02 and that they possibly have been by no potential replaced. take a seem at Monroe or solidarity 'rapid struts' on amazon, Ive considered them for as low as $60 each in case you replace all 4 struts/shocks it is going to experience like new back

Yes have the mouts for the trans looked at by someone else to make sure they are adjusted correctly, if it make noise when you shift or changing gears thats it, also struts wear otu due to use and low maintenance, like grease, have someone as well check them, maybe the same time they check the trans, good luck, oh i have heard bad things about Ammco,

No you do not have to replace both fr. struts if that is the problem, could be a bad top strut brg. Also keep in mind you will need a front end alignment after strut or brg. replacement.

don't worry about it. stress won't help the situation. call around for more quotes, find out from each how long it will take also. call ammco and see if they can look at it again, maybe they did something to it or didn't do something they were supposed to. good lcuk!
