Just wondering.

And no, i am NOT a liberal or a republic or a treehugger or ANYTHING else.

This is just something i'm curious about since almost everyone here likes to berate them.

I don't know about others, but I can tell you my opinion. I have little respect for liberals because they take the easy way out of everything. They are on the wrong side of most everything when it comes to honesty, morals and the american work ethic. Its easy to be a liberal, but I would't sleep well if I was. I also must say that the democratic party of today is nothing like the party of 60 years ago. Today it is more of a leftist socialist party and I think if they were in power for a long time they would destroy the country.

I will tell you why I don't like liberals. First off, I am a conservative, not extreme right but right nontheless. A lot (I mean a lot) of their arguments come from these fictional reports, and then believe them. They do not allow true facts to disrupt what they believe. Most have a one-mindset and would not change if even if all the proof was against them. Most just follow the leader also, they do not let themselves think, as that angel girl above has shown. She just believes that every conservative is rich. I have only been handed my life to me, and two loving parents. Everything else I have worked for.

I am so glad you asked. Liberals are reactive, they reach decisions without objectivity or the necessity of knowledge, and they think people that don't agree with them are "stupid". Take global warming, for instance. Is there any objective proof that it is taking place? No, unless the liberal media conjers up some quack scientist from Denmark. Does that lack of proof cause a liberal to look for answers elsewhere? No. Why not? Because they aren't done reacting yet! And by the way, if Al Gore says it's true, it must be!!

It isn't a dislike for liberals. Liberals hate conservatives who they now labeled neocons, and they in turn throw the anger right back. Democrats had Republicans and Republicans hate Democrats. What is funny is there isn't much difference between the two parties. I find it funny that people will put blind faith in a "party" and ignore their own views and thoughts. Many people vote for a party that they think is popular or who their parents may have voted for all their lives. People don't take the time to think or read the issues, so they go for a party and do what they are told by its closed minded leaders. So Dean says to hate the neocons, and Tony Snow says bad bad democrat... and they follow.

Dislike is a lot better then hatred. (Which is the way Liberals think of Conservatives)

Liberals have an idea of socialism and communism. They think that if they did it the right way then it would work and everyone could be equal. Less hatred for all and everyone is equal, including money.
All in all, that is a great idea. One problem is that for as many times as it has been tried, it never works. The USA, before it was the USA tried it. It almost killed everyone here. Russia tried it, and look what happened.

What we dislike is the arrogance they have directed towards everyone that they can do it better and they know what is better for you.
I think that you will have the givers and the takers no matter what group you fall into. Not everyone can function in a socialistic society.

I don't dislike liberals just their philosophy I use to be one. One of the traits that a lot of liberals have is that they will try solutions for some of our social problems ex welfare, public education, social security when they are shown that these policies are not working well instead of saying lets try something different they will say that our intentions were noble and keep doing the same thing that is not working. Almost like communism which as you can see only a few countries have not figure out, it does not work.

Because we were created with an inner-sense of good and evil. Liberals tend to be for things like the broad use of even late-term abortion as a method of birth control, but against the death penalty for adult convicted murderors. They are generally more concerned with unlimited personal freedom than social responsibility. Don't think for a second that they ACTUALLY care about people... just look at all the limosine liberals in Hollywood.

Because we're all satan worshiping baby killing anti-Christ monsters who don't necc. agree with the cause given, tactics used or length of the war, because of the casualties that are racking up. Would that fall under irony? I can never tell. O yea and we wanna just tax the living daylights outta everybody so we can afford health care, etc, for the people in this country, actually we could just divert money being spent on the war though couldn't we? And last but not least, our personal views on being able to maintain a freakin personal view when surrounded by people who scream war for freedom and then try to tell everyone else what to think and how to live. But mostly, I think it's cause we still point this stuff out.

Because the consertatives have the money and resources to spread their rhetoric and propaganda to deceive the public and mislead them into believing that we can sustain our lifestyles while at the same time they are exploiting foreign nations and ruining the world's ecosystems through pollution.

Bottom line: they know the days of strip mining the earth and damaging resources are numbered. So they campaign against liberals to buy more time to get richer while they still can.

I do not hate liberals. I just do not like talking to them. There is little to no common sense. If you do not agree with their point of view, you are an enemy to them and that is the end of it. No listening, no facts, no hard evidence.

I know there are people like that everywhere, but I have found very few liberals to hold a sensible debate with and not have them screaming at me because I shoot down his entire agenda...
