If you were to assume ghosts were real, what is the worst thing they could do to a person besides just scare him?

Well they could drink up all the milk, sleep with my mother in law, wreak my car the day after i bought it ...... hey wait that is not a ghost that is my loser brother.
I guess the worst a ghost could do is treat me better than my own brother

Most spirits don't cause you any harm at all. The old fashioned idea of "ghosts" is rubbish. There are some evil spirits around but they can't harm you directly unless you mess with them ie with a ouji board. Some spirits will throw things, turn tv on and off etc but the vast majority mean no harm, just the opposite.

If you believe in them as I do, they can do a lot of harm if they know how to touch things here. I was pushed down stairs by a really angry ghost. Most of my friends wouldn't come to my home because they experienced the ghost. Yes, I have moved.

Watch the movie 'White Noise' it is a bit over the edge, but I do believe if you mess with the spirits and don't know what you're doing then you could get possessed or at least become mentally ill. I believe there are good and bad spirits/energy just like people. Maybe the bad people are just possessed by evil energy?

If you base your opinion on everything documented on ghosts, they are energy around us that we can not see. Some "energies" are stronger then others and these ghosts can manipulate objects and be even strong enough to cause some physical harm.
Thes enteties apparently are often stuck in their own realm, and if they cause harm is because they strongly believe in their cause.

I believe in them.
but the ones I've "seen" have never done any harm.
Maybe cause it was an army post house? Don't know. A soldier returning home?
I'm in a brand spanking new army home. No ghosts in this one.

They could have sex with you... there was a movie made about a woman that was raped by ghosts (based on a "true" event), but I can't remember the name...
