weak serratus anticus muscles mean ur shoulder blades stick out (wing) Strengthening up rhomboids will help too. Simply find exercises that bulid up that area by doing weights slowly and watch - or get someone else to - if the desired areas are being targeted

You need to work on your serratus anterior muscle to help stabilise the shoulderblade. You need to do pilates. This works on alignment, postural muscles and core stability. A good instructor will show you good exercises. Don't go to a large class (more than 12) Small classes mean more attention and the risk of injury less.

Any type if back excersise requires you to pull weight towrds you.
Push ups are also good for working out your whole upper body. When doing push ups you should start with a small amount of repetitions and in time keep increasing that number.

If you have a bench you can lay on - like for bench pressing - lay on your stomach on that bench. Use dumbells and lift them as if you were "reverse bench pressing". This will work the muscles in your upper shoulders and back.
Also, you could do upright rows, rowing (like on a rowing machine), shoulder presses (overhead), and shrugs.
good luck!

Shrugs with weights are great, the heavier the weight the better. Who would have thought shrugging could be tiring!

Lateral pull downs will help - so will rowing, if you can get to a rowing machine.
