I MEAn I see people on 360* giving out tons of personal info to people they hardly know or putting up too many home pictures ...

It depends on where your from I suppose, I mean if your from a large city and your only giving your first name and a initial your pretty hard to find. as far as pictures there just pictures, unless your silly enough to include the adress plate on your mailbox besides I only have one albem open to the public and theres nothing but airplanes in it. .... I can certainly understand some people being more cautious. Anyway I'm a lot more worried about the carreer criminal down the street than someone across the country or ocean.

No, I don't put that much personal information out there. The world is too dangerous a place. It's better to be safe than sorry. I only share more personal things with those I know pretty darn well.

the majority of my life is already out there.....I've been googled more than once. My ex husband was paranoid about me revealing any info online yet if you approached him in a bar about doing a gig he would give a total stranger our home address and phone number on his business card! Now you tell me which is riskier? I am not paranoid and I have nothing to hide, if it results in a dangerous situation its likely the perpetrator will be dead...so I don't worry about it.

Well it depends on who it is. If your not a good friend or I don't know you well, I'm not going to put everything about me. I may put generic info like, the state I live in, and from when, but everything about. To the point where you can track me down.

I give out tons of personal info, but I'd still be quite difficult to find. there's nothing specific that says where I am, it's a big town I live in...

~to a point. I agree w/ you. but, I believe that there are a lot more good people out there than bad...
also, somethings I need to get off my chest - and have NO one to share w/ or talk to... so it's good to have a "friend/place to go to...
