Did this chick just refere to you as fat? That deserves a slap.I'm 5'2 as well i weigh 143,i look damn good, i have a 24 inch waist and a 40 inch butt, but i am not fat. Okay i always say you are as tall as you feel.Nobody believes me when i say i'm only 5'2. A dress above the knee with high shoes will help you to appear taller. Check out asos.com they have some great dresses. Im not too sure about the wrap dress thing, you don't want to draw attention to you waist which is exactly what a wrap would do. You want attention on your legs.Forever 21 have some cute dresses to.

Wrap dresses are SOOOO cute, and dresses that are a little lower in the front will take the attention off of your stomach. Also, they make dresses with what looks like "schrunchy" material around the stomach it disguises the problem area! I have that same problem, but I get nasty looks when I talk about it because I'm 5'9", but I tend to store my weight in my tummy. I wear plain colored tops with printed skirts and a fun pair of heels. Draw the attention away! Good luck, I'm sure you will look stunning!

Well I just bought a birthday dress for this weekend and I have a flabby tummy in a way too. The dress I bought is black with a low cut in the front in a v shape and has an empire waist. It slims me out and I look great. Black is very slimming and its not too tight at the waist.

I love the A line cut of a dress just above the knee with heels to make you look taller. Smaller at the top and wider at the hem, allows the fabric to flow freely and to not bind up in your middle.

A babydoll dress, they're supercute! They have a seam under the bust and its flowy form there and they are usually shorter than regular dresses so it would fit you perfectly and hide any tummy that you may be a bit uncomfortable with! You can get them in stores or online at websites like www.wetseal.com

Wrap Dresses are good for all body types. Also try empire waist dresses.
