It depends--what you're envisioning reminds me of the 1980's and since there seems to be a revival of indescriminate proportions of that decade, I'm sure we'll see them come back into full force with the really tacky accessories that came with them (pink leg warmers anyone?). I had several pairs of pumps and minis during the 80s in Jr. high and high school.
I do think you can have a classic look with them without trying to be overly retro. However, the accessory that *should* accompany the mini and heels combo are both sheer nylons and opaque tights. Bare legs with miniskirts and heels just look so, well, ho-ish.

Miniskirts and hotpants are back in full force again and so are high heels....remember Candies? Well this was my generation......according to the fashion gurus miniskirts and hotpants will be very popular this coming season.....even the same colors from the late 60's to the 70's are coming back...hot pinks, yellows, and bright colors too. Like a "Mod Squad" look....that's what's coming back........remember Peggy Lipton in her mini skirts and hot pants in that show?!

I don't worry about fashions myself. No one should ever worry about what is "in fashion" on not. I wear micro mini skirts and 5" stilettos when ever my hubby and I go out on date nights. Why?
This is what he wants to see me in and I have the confidence in myself to pull it off. I also don't care what anyone else may say or think! For your sake though, I hope it does come back.

They probably will....the missing element just needs to come back into play, namely the use of nylons or tights *in between* the heels and miniskirts....I mean, come on, you can't expect women to be *totally* naked from the waist down year round, can you? *lol* ;)
Besides, some folks (*ahem*) rather like seeing that tight, shiny, sealed-off look on a woman's legs....let's just say I've missed that look since the Valley Girl thing went out of style, like totally I'm sure....
Ok, I'll stop, I know I'm annoying folks....thank for your time! :) *lol*

bowler hats! that's really interesting. at one point perhaps a year or two ago berets were really in fashion, so i dont see why it can't be bowlers next! do bear in mind that if you go out wearing a bowler it might attract a few stares, but as long as it looks good it should be no problem! i support you!

Only during hot weather, IF girls wear that when its freezing it looks silly! I wear leg warmers and a fitted sweater with my mini skirt and heels during cold season.

Yes, of course they will. Fashion is cyclic..........I'm old enough to be seeing some fashions for the second time around :-)

Fashion is cyclical. EVERYTHING eventually comes back into fashion. I never worry about what's 'in' though - I just wear what I like.
