Talk to her, It may be good to talk to her again, after your divorce. It shows you're mature and have got past the situation.

I would question why your Ex wanted to start talking is she jealous of you? Have you now found happiness with someone else? Does she want something money etc? A bit synical of me but why now is all I am saying.
On a more possitive side she is thinking you need to talk because there are things that have not been said that need to be said so she can move on.
The answer to your question is if my ex wanted to talk I would listen to what he had to say before passing judgement and once he had said his bit I would then think about it and give him his answer.
If it is to get back with you, you both need to talk about the past as to why it all went wrong in the first place who had stopped saying and doing what. Be open, honest and truthful with her from start and do not think of all the good times remember she is ex for a reason first and formost.
Good luck it may be something it may be nothing up to you at the end of day.

Texting is private and intimate. Texting is the perfect way to create a private and intimate world between you and the man or woman in your life. Learn here https://tr.im/IZvWF
For women in particular, texting can end up being a fun “game” where they can do or say anything (even things they would never do in the “real” world). Texting is non confrontational. Odds are your relationship ended on a heated note. I don’t know why you and your ex broke up, but there was probably at least one (if not a few dozen) big fights. Done properly (the way I’m going to teach you), texting is simple and subtle. You can slowly feed your ex tested and proven messages and ideas without the risk of either one of you flying off the handle, falling back into old and destructive patterns, and throwing plates at each other.

It really depends on what the subject is?If you have children together, then it might be beneficial. However whatever reason you divorced for in the first place may no longer matter to her and if she is settled in her life, she may just want to chat occasionally, after all you do have history together.I would`nt try and Analise it too much.Except it for what it is,unless of course you know she is after something else.If you are in another relationship now, don`t keep anything back from your partner, discuss this with them first.

okay, I don't think it would be a big deal to settle things and get on with your life. Actually it may be good to know what caused the problems and end it all as friends, afterall, she was part of your life at some point!
