To the old media and the left, the election is a foregone conclusion and won't report ANYTHING that might make Bush or the republicans look good. Conservative talk radio is demanding republicans get out and vote no matter what.

Plus, their leading stories are actual assults on each other. I know that it is nothing new. But the intensity is higher on both sides than I've ever seen!

I get the feeling that whichever media loses may face an uncertain future!!!

yep,i agree the loser of this contest between the new,and old media is going to be the death of one of them.In my opinion i believe it will be the old media that loses this fight, for this reason the public is now more informed, with more tools at their disposal to check on what is said in both media outlets(old/new),and 9 out of 10 the old media is proving to show favoritism,in the political arena towards democrats, and their facts to be wrong, against republicans, and the truth suffers in the hands of the old media.

The coverage of the beginnings of the Iraq war is PROOF that there is no liberal media and that the idea that the media is harder on Bush than other presidents is a joke.

Conservative talk radio demonizes democrats, half the country, as people want the terrorists to defeat America and convert to islam and live under Osama Bin Laden's rule.

Which is more crazy and innacurate? The right wing claims that democrats want to surrender to the terrorists, or the left wing cliams that Republicans don't care very much about the poor and sick? In my mind the former claim is destructive, has no basis in fact and divides the country. The latter is exaggerated but largely bourne out by the facts.

I agree and I am so disgusted that they report poll results before everyone in the country gets a chance to vote. They'd do anything to sway voters not to show up if the big story is already taking shape.
