They don't distribute Gator (Claria) anymore. I haven't run into any other spy/malware they try to give out.

Well I have never got infected ever from yahoo so you may mistaken and are confused and thinking of AOL thats still infected with the sw and MW.

Are you saying Gator came from yahoo I don't think so

No, but some of their apps can hog resources if you don't have a hi end pc.
