If it only happens when going to a certain site, the problem is on their end of things. They don't have something configured properly or they have a bug in their code.

all servers break down eventually. yahoo and many other large companies have several servers. they switch over to another one when they are doing mainteneance on one of them. this is why their server uptime is so much better than it is at some other sites.

smaller comapnies can't afford to do it that way. they have to take it offline when they work on it. some do this in the middle of the night when traffic is low and others do it during regular business hours.

you won't find anything on the net that works perfectly 24 hours a day 7 days a week. it makes no sense to complain about something that is costing you nothing. i have seen a lot of good sites disappear because free users constantly whined to them about their free service.
