procrastinators and non procrastinators. Do the procrastinators write just as good of papers in 2 hours as the non-procrastinators who started their paper the day it was assigned? Are there more errors in grammar and spelling? Are the length of the papers different? Can teachers even tell who wrote a paper in a hour and who took a few days to write it?
Me? I think ideas come quicker to me when I wait to the last minute.

Here are a few suggestions:
Relavency of time - how it goes fast when you are wanting something to happen and how it drags on when you don't want something to happen.
Things that come alive in the dark vs things that are alive during the day (nocturnal animals and daytime animals).
Family or school life as protrayed on tv and in movies vs what family or school life is like in reality.
How winter is great and how summer is great.
Or fall and Spring.
A wedding vs a funeral - differences and similarities.
Horses vs cars as a mode of transportation, good and bad of both.

Dogs and cats, you could compare them to how they resemble certain types of people.
You know how some people are like dogs in that they need a lot of attention and are constantly up front about things, unlike cat people who are more laid back and let things happen sequentialy and so on. Good luck

oranges and apples, easy enough. make sure you include a dish comparing them. you might even include ambrosia... since it contains them both and you can say what each adds to the salad. have a wonderful day...and good luck on a good grade. PS when I did this in college (on apples and oranges, I made an A) trish the dish
