No, I don't know what you're saying. Teams have won 3 straight games in the playoffs many of times. And last time I checked, entering the World Series, weren't the Tigers on a 7 game winning streak? Plus, they had a 3 game-winning streak against the Yankees, the best team in baseball. AND, if they do lose Game 4, they have Game 5 at St. Louis (away) and the rest at home. And on the 3 game-winning streak against New York, the first game was at New York (away) and the rest were at home. And the Tigers have not lost a series that has had a postponed game this year. So no, it would not take a miracle.

It's looking like rain. Don't make any bets yet, if tonight gets rained out both teams are going to be struggling. If it does get to a 3-1 series that only means that it's more exciting. I personally have my hopes on Detroit. It's been 22 years since the last attempt, and around 40 since the time befor that. This ball club and city really want it, trust me, I live there.

I agree, a 3-1 hole is a hard one to climb out of, only if you are the 2004 Red Sox can you do it. If the Cards win tonight the series is over and finally Fox can start showing thier good shows again!!!!

as a cards fan and a tigers fan, i think and hope the cards will take it in six, how sweet would it be for the cardinals to beat the tigers in detroit with rogers on the mound, i love my tigers too but i love baseball enough to admit rogers cheated and should be dealt with but the mlb are a bunch of ******* and wont do anything, maybe the cardinals can teach his @$$ a lesson, carps will get the win tonight and only one good start in the final three games will send tigers fans home

every game is its own entity. the ideal situation is for the 2 teams to split the next 2 and have the series go back to Detroit for games 6 and 7 with St Louis up 3 games to 2. that would be high drama

The Red Soc won 4 in a row so it's easily possible to win 3 in a row

It takes 4 to win! That's why they play the games!

I don't agree that it would be a lock for St.Louis if they won tonight. It would be next to impossible for the Tigers, but let us look no further than the 2004 ALCS, where the Red Sox climbed their own hill despite overwhelming odds.

Yes because the Tigers can't beat Chris Carpenter, who would be the Game 7 starter.
