I answered this same question a few days ago . Sky are only entitled to buy the satelite rights to lost . C/4 can still buy the terrestrial rights and show it on C/4 but they will not be able to show it on E4 . They may not buy the rights at all if they think ratings will be down to much if sky show it first and they cannot repeat it on E4. You will really have to wait and see what C/4 decide to do.
P.S for everyone in Ireland Lost series 3 will be on RTE 2 next week.

Basically sky have the rights to show lost on sky one first they might after a wile sell lost episodes to a different channel like c4. Sky one have the rights to the simpsons but you see the simpsons on c4 dont you?

It will be shown at a later date. It will work in the same way as 24 when it moved from BBC2 to Sky.
Or wait for the box set to come out!

I even have merely had a seem on the Sky internet site and it quite is actual. i'm fortunate I even have Sky yet am gutted for all lost followers who do no longer. you will might desire to get a chum with Sky to tape it for you or telephone Sky and ask for the main inexpensive kit that has have been given Sky One in it. i think of it is going to in easy terms fee you approximately £12 a month.

It starts on sky one in november, and it will be on channel 4 sometime in 2007. It is normally shown a few months after it has finished on sky one.

It means if we have not got sky we are stuffed unless we have a very good friend to go round and watch it with or to tape it for us. I heard it will eventually be on four but we will have to wait until dooms day your guess as good as mine on that.
I also hear that it will be on download on tube so you could check out yourtube it is a real bummer not to be able to watch it just because we have no sky television.

It depends on the kind of rights they acquired. They may have bought exclusive rights for a period of around 3 years which means noone else can show it. If they bought rights that are non-exclusive (which means they paid less) , then the program can be bought and aired by other channels.

This is news to me. What and where is Sky 1???? Man! These networks when they dont cancel a hood Tv series they screw viewers up by selling to a station or network where it cant be seen by many of the fans.
Whatever.
