like how is the whole medical field portrayed in the show? good? bad?

Sex, and the who done it thing. Plus, Hugh Laurie's character is hilarious in how close to reality he is to most doctors and their behavior.

It's very entertaining. Each episode has one main patient with a strange illness that they have to figure out. So, it's like a mystery in that sense. But there's also a continual storyline for each character going on as well. Dr. House's character is dark and sarcastic, but he's honest too. He's also pretty funny. Watch it once and you'll be hooked.

Well, because it is entertaining. It isn't accurate most of the time, but Hugh Laurie hides it well. Love the show.

howlywood ******** that keeps mugs w/o a brain entertained. you got to be downright stupid to think they want to spend the time it takes to study the material they need to study to show you how things are in the reel world.

Because he & the show are R A W & R E A L I S T I C--------------------thats how people really are thinking and feeling and the answers they really would love to give someone--even if they are Doctors--(they are Human Too.) I could just imagine what doctors go thru with pains in the asses patient'sssssssssssss..........................................................Ya know like UNDER THEIR BREATH!!!!!!!!!

I love it. He tells people like it is and doesn't care what they think about it. We all wish we could be a little like House.

not sure, my mom likes to watch it. she says that house is an arrogant s-o-b like her. hey those are her words not mine, i dont watch the show.
