I noticed that when a woman has a problem with her man, everyone's answer is "dump him" ... like come on.. is that the best suggestion anyone can give these women who might be seeking a more meaningful answer... obviously something is bothering her don't give her some BS answer to just dump her man.. advice is better then that ...

i'm not saying it's ok for physical violence .. i asked why not give more supportive answers then just 'dump him' .. i'm sure someone is going to dump their man after 28 yrs marriage just he's on the internet all hours of the morning.. like hello... it's only a question, so be nice with your answers..

people give answers like that becaue they can't think beyond the easy solution. it takes a strong person to work through issues and forgive
never feel dumping your man whatever the problem is the answer analyzing what is best for your happiness is always the first solution and then you determine from there
analyzing your happiness incorporates your safety, your emotional stress, everything
not all of us thinking dumping him is the answer and those that do usually are bitter and haven't found happiness :)

Don't you think that if someone is looking for a meaningful answer they should ask a trusted friend or even a therapist. It is hard for most people to be serious via the internet anyway. But I do agree with you.

not all answers are "dump him" but if a woman is gonna whine and say, hes cheated on me 30 times and he ignores me but i love him...boo hoo hoo. then that is an appropriate answer, and if their relationship is in such turmoil, then i dont think this is the place to come to for relationship help, see a professional

I agree to a point - usually these women are being abused or cheated on - and divorce is the only way out for freedom and safety.

Because it's easier to say "dump him" than it is to offer intelligent, meaningful advice. This probably explains our high divorce rate too.

You don't like the "dump him" answer??? Well what would you rather hear - Let him beat you silly whenever he wants???
Let him stay out all night and "whore" around - everything will be OK??
Let any man treat you like S**t - it's OK???

Come on Chippie, if one spouse is treating the other like crap, including assaults, cheating, drugs etc., there is only one answer to that question. Kick his/her ar*se out of it. People who treat each other like that are not 'in love'. Whatever there once was, is now dead.................
