It probably is real - you can get some really good deals if you look in the right places. My wedding band is white gold and only cost us about $50. If you're concerned about the quality of that ring, they always have nice ones for around the price you are looking for at the Zales outlets. That's where my husband bought my engagement ring and we got my wedding band there.

ask for an "acid test" before buying. you mentioned nothing about stones. For an easy way to check diamond authenticity, blow hot breath on it from approx 3" away, if condensation forms its fake. $200 seems about right for a white gold band, but white gold is generally 18k-22k. 14k would be 1/2 crap and I'm sure you could get a nice deal on a better quality ring from a reliable local pawn shop. it may be used but it will be new to her. congrats on finding love in this world. hope she says yes

Unfortunately there are pieces of jewelry marked 14K and they are not. If it is also marked "white Gold" then I would question it.
In any case if you guys are in love a ring from the 25 cent machine should be great. Do not feel badly that you are not spending more. It is far better to stay within your budget than to start with going overboard.

I only paid about that for my wedding band, and it's white gold with diamond chips. As long as you're buying from a reputable dealer, you should be fine.
My husbands band was also about the same price and is also white gold.

The price seems about right for it to be real. 14 karat is not a high grade for white gold which is why the price is quite low.

the certainty that your boyfriend introduced you something is amazingly candy, a promise ring makes it much extra specific. annoying with reference to the fee of it in gold does certainly make you sound like a gold digger yet consistent with hazard you're merely curious. Your boyfriend needless to say cares very lots approximately you, you should be apprehensive extra with reference to the fee of the hoop to you. right this is hoping you gave him a hug and a kiss for the form of candy present.

Probably. Why don't you shop on QVC and get her a diamonique ring, it looks real and know one would know it's fake. Just until you get enough money to buy a real ring.

THE RING IS REAL IF YOU T LEAST PURCHASE IT AT A JEWELRY STORE AND NOT AT THE CORNER FROM BOB THE CON ARTIST. I SHOULDN'T TURN HER FINGERS. SHE'LL BE HAPPY IT'S NOT THE COST THAT MOST PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT IT'S YOUR TRUE LOVE.
