Ironically: life itself!

2006-10-26 06:43:06 · answer #1 · answered by Eyeline 3 · 1 0

Saddest thing: Going on job interview after job interview. Potential employers calling you on the phone to do a interview and then waiting for them to call you back to say you have the job but you receive a email stating thank you for applying but we have chosen a different candidate whose experience closely matches then crying uncontrollably and wondering what you did wrong then thinking something is wrong with you.

Funniest: Watching my son jump around and cheer me up from being depressed about not having a job.

I think the "funniest" things, are the things we don't plan, and the saddest, are when we have to let them go.

Here is an irony. When we are young and have children, we are too poor and self involved to enjoy the time we could with our children because of work, school, going out etc... Then, when you are old enough to realize whats important-our families, our kids dont have time for us anymore...
That is a great irony in this life.
Very sad...

Also, another great irony of life that I have observed is that as men age, they have hair everywhere on their bodies but the one place they want it.
:-)

I still love men though because I have figured out that I can love someone regardless of what they look like.

Funniest - watching the car that just passed you on the highway get pulled over.

Saddest - knowing that 30,000 children die daily because nobody is bringing them food while we dump excess into the ocean.
