Sailor is extremely misinformed. Implantation occurs 6 - 12 days after ovulation (8 - 10 days being the norm). Implantation bleeding is very rare occurring in only 10% of pregnant women. It is a light spotting of a brownish pink mucous (not enough for a liner) that can last for 1 - 6 days.

Implantation takes between 6 and 12 days. This is the time when implantation bleeding or spotting will occur. Implantation bleeding is very light usually a pinkish or brownish color. It takes 6 to 12 days for a fertilized egg to travel to the uterus and attach to the lining of the uterus where it begins to develop. If the fertilized egg does not make it to the uterus and gets stuck in the fallopian tube or elsewhere this is called an ectopic pregnany and can be painful (do not worry this is rare).

Implantation occurs two to three days after fertilization. Most women experience light spotting or bleeding when that happens. Some mistake it for their period and don't realize they're pregnant until later.

No it does now not. In truth, implantation bleeding is extra the exception than the rule of thumb. Most females will in no way revel in it. My OBGYn stated that perhaps 20% of the females he ytreats record having any sort of implantation bleeding.

With me, I spotted 5 days after conception, it was pink and brown and only lasted one day. I also had cramping.
