The deal IS....
You really need to make time for the best friend.
One day or night a week, needs to be for you both.
That is something you need to learn NOW before you get married and have kids. Set the boundaries now.
My best friend was here long before my husband and has been a huge part of most areas of my life. When she still lived close, we had worked around out busy lives to have one Sunday brunch or Friday night coffee and a chick flick once a month.
My husband was really jealous of our relationship and I had to explain to him that "she" is my chosen sister and that our friendship will only make our lives better.

This is like the age old question. It happens every time and it sucks. Sometimes it's because your friend is jealous. Mostly though, you do have less time for your friend and that's hard to adjust to sometimes.
Suggestion: Make plans for just she and you at least once a week. No boyfriends, no nothing and both of you do something fun! Go see a movie or whatever and spend some time bonding. It's healthy and good for you!

Things get wierd because you don't have the time to spend with your best friend that you did before. And if they go out with you and your new boyfriend, usually they end up feeling like a third wheel. Try double dating, it might just be the answer to your problems. Good luck.

You need to make time. Have a girls night out. Let the guys do what they want for a while and spend time with her. You do not have to spend every minute with this guy.

You answered your own question. She is jealous of the time you spend with your boyfriend.

get used to it! my best friend was so jealous of the fact that i was getting married that she wouldnt be my maid of honor! we are no longer friends. its human nature, jealousy, youll find other couples to be happy/friends with that obviously have more in common with you!
