I always disliked the word "Hate" to me it is a strong word, that sometime leads to bad things, I always told my children to be careful the way they use it. People could take it the wrong way.

No. Don't think so. There's more to it than just that aspect:
You are also defined by things you like / hate / enjoy / do / ...
People are a work in progress. Evolution of body and mind since we are born, untill we die... Therefor you cannot be truly known. What can change, can not be known truly. It can just give a glimpse of what/who you are...

People that think they are superior to anything. This life is a series of checks and balances and to think that somehow you are better because you are white or black, pretty or ugly, male or female, one religion vs another, a basketball player vs a custodian-is a conundrum for me.
Its not what you do when people are looking that determines the kind of person you really are,
it's what you do when people arent looking.
