i know it gets realesed on "dec 15" but does that include a small town theater like mine

I'd say December 15th; most big movies get broad release. However (I've spent some time in the plains), some very small, local theatres don't get big films for almost a month after their initial release. I'd say just suck it up and ask them.

On a personal note: I can't wait for it! Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich in the same movie, wearing dresses! That'll be... something to see.

mass release in the 15th, so it should be in your area then.
