Are there any fabrics that stretch in only one direction?

I've found one called Quadretto. Are there others?

Fleece does (at least I'm pretty sure it does). I have a fleece blanket and you can pull it one way and it stretches, if you pull it the other way it doesn't--at least not as far as when you pull it the other way.

Never heard of one. I really don't care which way my clothes stretch. I mean, it still looks the same, right?
