I can put the files on a cdr I don't have a dvd burner right now and want to save these large files I tried winrare and it does'nt hardly compress at all. .

First select the file.
Right click and select Properties.
Click Advanced
Check COMPRESS CONTENTS TO SAVE DISK SPACE
Then add the file to WinRAR.
(Right click anywhere. Click on New and select WinRAR archive.
Open the archive.Drag the file you want into it.)
You will see a drop down menu with the heading COMPRESSION METHOD.Click on it. Select Best.
Click OK.

The resulting file will be compressed.....

the compressionrate depends of the filetype. If it is a text file iit can be compressed for 90%, but if it is for instance an exe filetype it will hardly compressed, no matter what kind of compression methode you use.
