I am organizing a Halloween party for adults and I have some Celtic Mysteries CD-s, ambient, ethno-dance, punk... but I would like you to give me some more ideas concerning authors, songs... old knights, medieval music or smth. Thanks!

Amazing Blondel, a 70s proggressive act composed all of their music with instruments from the middle ages. It is haunting music, and great musicianship.

The Misfits had a cd called "Project 1950" which has a cover of Monster Mash that is totally amazing. Also Type O Negative is always good for halloween. The hellrasier soundtrack is all really creepy old time instumentals. Good luck, Have Fun!

There's a band called Apocalyptica that combines classical instruments with a heavy metal sound - I recommend "Inqusition Symphony" and "Danse Macabre" - two songs that are appropriately cool and creepy for Halloween.

Also, though I don't know artists - as a genre, industrial gothic music might be good.
