So, what do I do now with programming?

Ok, I have become confident in writing several programming langauges (C#, C,C++ etc) and I would like to know what I can do with them, like open source stuff. How do I get involved, etc. Can someone please explain to me, how this stuff works please?

Wander round sourceforge.net or similar, and e-mail the devel team of anything that looks interesting.

When you say that you are confident can you elaborate on your compentencies in the languages?
