I'm a baseball fan, love the Series, was intrigued by the Tigers getting in, but it just has lost my interest lately.

Last years sweep was also a bit of a snoozer. Keep in mind when two small market teams are in it it doesn't get interesting until a game six or seven. (i.e. Florida vs. Cleaveland in the 1997 Series.

Anyone who claims to be a baseball fan and loves the series contradicts himself by saying you have lost interest. I think this is the most exciting game in years. I went to the 84 world series and watched the Tiger's win it all and that was exciting but I have not missed a game this year that was available on TV and I have not missed any of the post season games, the Tiger's are going to do it again. I can feel it. I could feel that they were going to win the series against the Yankees and I could feel it that they were going to win against the A's and I have that same feeling again. Out of 3 games they have won 1 but the series isn't over by a long shot. Keep watching the Tiger's are going to take it all.

nah, its boring b/c even though the tigers are in it for the first time in 20 years, the yankees are still getting more publicity than either the Tigers or Cardinals...sucks but its true. Other than that, the Tigers are still working out the kinks of waiting a whole week for the Cardinals to beat the Mets...Even though the Tigers had a week off to "rest" honestly the Cardinals had the edge coming in to the Series b/c they were still playing on a pretty similar schedule to the regular season. With all that said **** the Cardinals...Tigers are going to win even though there isn't much hype around the World Series...damn Yankees.

Albert Pujols is not boring. If you think he is, then baseball is not the sport for you. Chris Carpenter coming out and mowing down the competition is not boring. A rookie starter anthony reyes coming out and shutting down the tigers for his 6th major league win evr is not boring. Yadier Molina hitting a game winning homerun (when he only had like 4 all season) is not boring.

What I have heard mostly is that most people did not pick the cardinals to even make the playoffs. Then people did not pick them to beat San Diego (which they were always going to do) Then people picked the weak-azz mets over the cardinals (which we said all season the cardinals were going to beat them in the playoffs) And all the experts said that the tigers had a week off and they would win the W.S. in 4 or 5 games. All these so-called experts on ESPN and Baseball tonight that said the yankees would beat everybody were so wrong about that and the cardinals that they don't want to talk about it now, making less coverage of the series and make it seem boring. St. Louis is the best baseball town and if you lived here, you would see that it is anything but boring.

I have to agree with you about the World Series. I tried to watch the game but, I too, lose interest of it when I was very busy with my school work this week.
Now I just check the news to see which teams are winning.

No, at least the losing team will win 1 game..

Not like the crappy White Sox/Astros or Red Sox/Cardinals series. Talk about boring. Zowie Wowie!!

Chicago fans loved last year's Series, but a relaxed 4-game sweep over an inferior Astros team wasn't very captivating for anyone else, I should think.

No. Any that have the Yankees is boring because no one outside of the east coast cares about the Yankees. The most boring by far was the Mets vs. Yankees series. Only New York cared about that one.

I don't think it's boring and I'm not a fan of either team. I think it's cool that the (cheating) Tigers were so heavily favored and now it's looking like a series.

It's boring when there is a sweep ... like previously mentioned - when the inferior 'stros got into the series. Now THAT'S boring! (Even though I love the 'stros ... it was a bad series.)

The '99 Series between the Braves and Yankees was a definite yawner.
