How long does it take to respond, preview and get to the next question with dial-up?

I use dial-up and it's quite long: viewing a question alone may take 20s because yahoo's page need many javascript files (.js). You may want to turn off the display of images to speed up the transfer.

The whole operation can easily take a minute.

yes. im using dial-up. it takes a maybe 5secs to properly load a page. so to answer even with just a yes or no takes a total of 15secs or more depending on the current speed and other downloads in the background.

it's really slow. but it's alright. i became a more patient person by using dial-up.. man.. who am i kidding. i need broadband!

Yep. It's not my choice, we just can't get hispeed here. Most times there is a slight delay 5 _ 10 seconds, sometimes it's a lot faster, sometimes it 's a heck of a lot slower. It can be frustrating when you think of an excellent answer, and then you have to wait......wait....... for it to post. SIGH!

1 min is normal. but some times need to log in network 2min and in fast time is 10 S

I am. It takes a couple of minutes to get though a whole question. I play solitaire while I wait.
