Congratulations on having a healthy diet and exercise regimen. I am sure that it has lowered your risk of heart disease. However, you have a strong familial genetic predisposition to heart disease, and that is harder to overcome. (Runner Jim Fixx died of a heart attack because his family had a strong predisposition to it, despite his healthy lifestyle) You need to talk with you doctor about monitoring your cholesterol and homocyestine levels. If you are over 45 and male, I would recommend a cardiac stress test, just as a baseline to catch any issues. As you are only 17, unless you have a family history of hyperlipidemia, you are decades away from worry.
Most importantly, if you have symptoms of heartburn, chest pain, jaw pain, etc. Don't ignore it. it could be a heart attack. Not everyone gets the elephant on the chest, pain shooting down the left arm classic symptoms. Educate yourself on the symptoms of a myocardial infarction (medicalese for heart attack)
Keep up the good work and the healthy lifestyle, you will live a long time and reduce your risk for other killers, like diabetes, cancer and stroke.

hate to break it to you but some people produce bad cholesterol in their bodies regardless of how they eat or exercise. You should have a cholesterol test to see where your levels are. You are definitely working well at good health. A blood test will tell what your bad cholesterol and good cholesterol levels are. If the bad is high the doctor might give you a medication that will lower this. Some medications even raise the good cholesterol.

Boy, don't live your life worrying like this, you WILL get an ulcer before a heart attack!! It's good to do your part in your own health, but to worry about the future now at the way your going about it, it's crazy. Besides,It's your mother's side you really need to be worrying about not your dad's side. This is how it usually works, mother-son, father daughter, these combos are how it works. son takes after the mother, the daughter takes after the father, look it up, it's basic, well I'm a nurse so, I went to school for this, but I learned about this in high school. just look it up and maybe you will stop worrying yourself for a premature heart attack anyway!! Take it easy, it's ok, get a girlfriend, she'll take your mind off such a bothersome topic for you. take care!!
