I've been with my boyfriend for 5 1/2 years now, and I love him so much. I just want to know how I would know. I probably just do right?

You would know when he is the only thing you think about night and day, you would know if when you go shopping you end up buying him more things than yourself, you would know if you dream about his and yours wedding, you would know if whenever he leaves your site you already miss him.....

Depending on your age, and his maturity level at the age he's at now, - He'll be asking you to marry him!

And remember love is much more than a feeling!

How does he always treat you. Is he Very Patient with you? Is he kind, and commpassionate, gentle, and always willing to swallow his pride(even when he's right) and say I'm sorry please forgive me? Does he easily forgive you? Do you easily forgive him?
Does he accept you for who you are, or does he often try to change you? Does he trust you?
Does he often question your decisions?
Is he a jealous person? Love is not jealous!
Is he a true gentleman with his manners toward you? Does he really cherish you, and not look at other women?
Your husband, your Mr. Right will be someone who is Very Patient with you, & very kind. One who is willing to, and loves to communicate with you often. He will always trust You. Mr. Right will never lie to you. He is honest. He has a job, and is very hard working, an excellent provider. He is a clean person, not a messy person. Mr. Right sincerely enjoys cooking for you often, especially your favorite meals. He enjoys keeping the house and vehicles clean(and maintained). Mr. Right would rather be with You, than with his other guy friends. He also would always love to encourage you and praise you, even in front of all his other friends.
Mr. Right would not be negative in his thinking about you, and/or in the words he speaks to you.
Mr. Right would be a giver, in his relationship with you, not a taker. He always respects the differences you both may have. If you do not like sports much, he would choose you over his sports, whether watching the game on T.V. or ging to a game. Basically, Mr. Right would choose you first over most anything else. Your Mr. Right is a very selfless person. He enjoys giving you a back massage when you are stressed from work.

I believe you know who Mr. Right is !!!

You may have a different definition of what Mr. Right is, and that Mr.Right is what you may want, & need.

Just realize that your Mr. Right MIGHT be the person you'll spend the rest of your life with.

Imagine that.

You'll know who Mr. Right is. You may have him already, and if so, never let him go!!!

bbcar, I am going to make it simple for you. This advice has worked for me in everything in life. To put it simple if you have any doubt in any way shape or manner, that is called your intuition and it is telling you it is not meant to be. But if you are 100% toally sure and you know deep down, say if something happened to you tommorrow, (no matter what) he would be by your side then I would say yes he is Mr. Right. I have seen couples where something happened to the other, and the other person did not want to be by their side, and they split up. Noone knows what tommorrow brings. If you feel that if this was to happen to you, that he would be there until the end, then you have found the right person. You must not have any doubts whatsoever.

Make a list of all the things about him that just piss you off. Things you do not like about him and be honest to yourself. Then put next to that, whether you think he will ever change that characteristic or behavior. Look at the list of all the ones that you just hate and he will never change. If you think you could live with him for the rest of your life in spite of all the things that really bother you, he might be the right guy.

You know if your both for each other if you doesn't think about how he looks, how rich he is.. it the communication that counts, if he always understands things that your are going through and helps you then he's the right one. At the end of the day, right, face, money, cloths doesn't really counts, when you get old, everybody is ugly except the attitude.. If you love the attitude then he's yours to kip.Good Luck!

5 1/2 years says a lot...I've always believed that the right person is someone you see spending the rest of your life with. Just ask yourself one question, "Do I see myself with him 20 or more years from now?"

Sounds like you already have chosen Mr Right. If you feel it necessary to get married to make it official, don't feel pressured to do that. Living with a person in a loving caring relationship is all anyone truly wants and you have that.
