Don't do anything. underage drinking is way too fun. Just stay at home and throw a party. That way, no one has to drive to a bar thus less drunk driving. Plus, old nasty people hitting on the young hotties is kind of disturbing at bars.

Re-Institute a military draft.

If you can be drafted into the Army at 18, it's hard to argue that you're not old enough to drink. That's what happened 40 years ago when kids were being sent to Viet Nam. Drinking ages were lowered.

It's been raised, primarily due to underage drinking and driving fatalities and incidents. You'll need to really crack down on that as part of the plan.

It is very unlikely that the drinking age will ever be lowered due to past occurances and statistical information on drinking.

Actually more and more things are getting age restrictions due to abuse, you now have to be over 18 to purchase items like elmers glue, sharpie markers, and toilet paper in some places because of teenagers abusing these substances. If you can't buy glue till you are 18 good luck at lowering the drinking age.

First, the teens are drinking anyway, second most adults aren't mature enough to handle alcohol and not be idiots or drink and drive- now you want to add teens to the mix- they scare me anyway with their driving! I'm sure I scared my parents too- and along with many responsible ones, we have a MASS of rude. "its everyone's fault but mine", "the world should support me" ones-at least in my area---WAKE UP! Lowering it is just promoting it-

If anything it should be raised! Go count the graves of kids that have died because of booze...of all the drugs it has caused the most damage to families, people, and jobs, costing billions of dollars annually. Wake up and live...Get some real friends and not acquaintances that are going to get you killed! Or worse...

None. You're stuck.

Higher drinking age leads to fewer problems, lower crime rate, lower accident rates on the roads, and a reduction in teen alcoholism.

Sorry.

i think the drinking age is fine. 18 year olds are too stupid to handle that responsibility and so are 19 and 20 year olds so yeah 21 is perfect.

It's been tried and it failed miserably in the 70's. The amount of alcohol related traffic accidents and deaths from that age group rose dramatically so it was taken back up to 21. Sorry....

We can start by not getting into so many car crashes and hurting innocent victims.
