Because they are sick and twisted.

It's beyond comprehension, isn't it?!? Some people who abuse children are mentally ill, some lack the most .basic intelligence, some have been abused themselves and might think this is the way things ought to be. But the men and women who have babies and sexually abuse them should be put to death, as humanity would be better off without them.
I know the ACLU thinks this is cruel and inhumane punishment.
And what's with sexual predators released into neighborhoods??
These sickos never reform-- they just wait for another opportunity-- maybe the judges who release them should invite them into their own homes for a while.

Supposedly, people abused as children are more likely to abuse their own children, which makes no sense to me at all. I had a lousy mother and I did the exact opposite of things she did because I loved my children and didn't want them to have to grow up with a "Mommy Dearest" like I did. It's about choices. Responsibility vs. excuses to hurt others.
