Determine your qualifications and education and start applying for jobs. Are you getting paid for an 8 hour day? If not you may be able to take less per hour.
You might try to start with some retail work or other type of work that will show broader experience - during the holidays or the summer.
Are you sick of driving, or sick of kids? If you are not sick of driving, apply to your city transporation system!

Try some truck driving. Or may be a taxi driving. If you think you have some else skills, why not try a job which requires that.

well,i don't know how it`s like there,but here private bussiness pay you more than if you`re working for the state(government,whatever) so,yeah,maybe try there..
