i love the books! my favorite is Horse and his Boy, Prince Caspian....all of them are good though. the last battle also has many interesting "christian" themes, and has actually helped me understand the religion in new ways.... pretty awesome, considering C.S. Lewis was first atheist and became Christian, and if you read Mere Christianity you can see some similar themes he comes up with and used in Chronicles. :)

the movie was just "ok" for me.. i thought it was nice and all, i really liked the witch and lucy, but tumnus was a little too child predatory creepy for me. also, i kept comparing the lion's voice to mufasa, and thought liam neeson was lacking =T. and there were some things that i didn't like, for example the water on the ice and the kids floating on the little piece, etc. oh well!

Quite honestly, I would love for Hollywood to make a Narnia movie that was not The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Any of them. The Silver Chair, for instance.

I have read all of the books numerous times. I actually had a box set of them that I wore out and had to buy a new set. I found all 7 books in one big book at Walmart. I was so excited I actually called my mom to tell her!! (geek!)

P.S. Teresa, they are getting ready to film Prince Caspian! :o)

Anyone who thinks Liam Neeson's voice is lacking, needs to listen again. Liam Neeson's voice is magical, certainly in no equal competition with Sean Bean, Charlton Heston, James Earl Jones, John Carradine, or Ian Mckellen, but certainly his voice is in equal standing with such men as Patrick Stewart and Alan Rickman. Of course, all of these men are equally good actors.
