I'd give it back. The fact that somebody would have to ask this question, suggesting not giving it back would be an option, is a sad statement on today's morality.

Give it back. As a matter of fact this did happen to me at an airport once. A gentleman pulled something out of his pocket and a $100.00 bill fell out. I put my foot on it and called him. The man behind me knew him and called his name. When he turned, I told him that he had dropped something out of his pocket. He checked and came back and picked up the bill. He tried to give me something for getting it back to him, but I refused. He was on my flight later on and again thanked me.

Honestly, if they dropped it and didn't know it, I would keep it.
If they needed it that bad, then they should have made sure that it was secure wherever they put it.
In most cases I am a pretty honest person, but if you are that careless with something that big, I say "Finders Keepers, Loosers Suck"
Yeah, I know, I am going to He**

You give it back. Just like you would want someone else to do if it was you who dropped the money.

I actually have morals and a conscience. I would give it back. It would make me feel good seeing the appreciation in their face, and who knows, I might even get a reward for it.

Give it back , I would want someone to do that for me. However if no one was around to return it to, well than I'd probably keep it.

I haven't seen it.
When I see it, I will take care there is no trick.
I saw a film where there is a Hat in the middle of the road.
The first person who saw it kicked it.
Then he was howling with pain.
THERE WAS A STONE ROCK SOLID INSIDE THE HAT.
