I know they're stuck on an island, but if he found scissors to cut his bangs and his hair over his ears, couldn't he have asked Claire to take a little off the back?

Well, since they have been on the island 71 days I have lots of questions...how come all the women are hairless(legs and pits) and basically look quite Fetching? How come most of the men have some sort of facial hair? how come Hurley has not lost weight and Clair is as thin as a sylph? How can a hobbit(with or without a mullet?) be dating Freckles?

How about Sawyer's hair growing about 5 inches between seasons 1 and 2, but they were only on the island for a number of weeks.
Maybe the hair is to keep his neck from getting sunburn.

thank you! i was just talking about that with my friends last night!!! and he's so adorable too. i don't understand. plus, it irritates me that claire's culy hair is suddenly so straight and limp in this dry, humid, beach climate...? right. i guess they found a straightener in that bunker.
