I'm glad there's a legal way for them to complain to Congress!

Buffman is such a good example of Republican denial. He says UPI story is propaganda. It's just facts!

Are they being paid by the Dem/libs? Just curious and it is a valid question.

Look, when you sign up for the military it is totally voluntary. No one can make you sign up. When these soldiers sign up, they know there is a possiblity they may have to go to war.

346 isn't that many military members. They'll have to come up with alot more than that to get anyones attention.
Even if you don't support the war, you should support our troops!

Yes they are. Many of them are against the ever changing mission First it was WMD's but they couldn't find 'em. Then it was democracy but that looks to be questionable. Now it's to create a secure environment over there (yeah right!). These troops are dying over there and the administration has no plan or concept of why we are there.

As for Roch Cop and Daydoom: Have you ever been in the military? If you have you would understand the incredible courage it takes to make this kind of statement. I don't care if they are conservative or 'libs', they are US citizens, serving our country in uniform. If you dismiss their numbers or what they are saying you belittle the risk they are taking in order to tell what they believe to be the truth. You guys remember truth don't you? We haven't run into much of that over the last few years from either the conservatives or the 'libs'.

For those who say we ned to finish what we began or the troops died in vain: How do we eventually decice which soldier will be the last to die for a mistake? Do we keep making that kind of sacrifice just because so many died before?

While I proudly support the soldiers, im not in support of the war. You know it has gotten bad when the troops have realized they are fighting in something unjust. It seems everyone has realized this except the government and the war-happy. Its not even a war anymore, just an unorganized unmotivated mess.

Sure...it's a quagmire over there, and soldiers are having their tours extended well beyond anything they would have imagined...

EDIT: "We need to finish what we started"? Or those that died have died in vain? What kind of BS is that? What DID we start? What is the point of being in Iraq? Supposedly it was to oust Saddam and get the WMD's...we got Hussien, and there were no WMD's. WHY are we still there? If you say anything about the 'war on terror' or any crap like that you are an IDIOT!

Once we got Saddam, we should have packed up and left. Our people are dying over there so Bush and his buddies can set up this puppet government so that they can get rich of off their oil.

Our people have died, and still are dying, to ensure that a few can continue to get rich. I say that's in vain.

They didn;t sign into the military to fight only the wars they believe in. They have a right to voice their opion. What about the 2 million Iraq patrons who want us to finish the job? Do they count?

Let's see we have 150,000 troops in Iraq - 350 don't agree with the war. That's about 2/10ths of 1 percent. OK they have that right...Let them be free - free from a job in the military.

i'm with Dan in this one, and my perspectives from my own very own journey there are with reference to the comparable as his. there isn't any question as to which occasion positioned their money the place their mouths have been in terms of help, investment, and will enhance, notwithstanding, the place the militia's worried--and it quite is taken into consideration one of numerous explanation why quite some the militia continually has been and nevertheless is generally conservative. Having been to Iraq myself for the time of OIF a million and having been an intelligence analyst, i comprehend finished nicely who the gamers are and what's at stake, as nicely by way of fact the historic previous premier up as much as now and the prospect of what's going to ensue one way or the different, depending on what we do. i don't have self belief going to conflict became the main suitable thought, nor became it dealt with nicely on the beginning up; yet that does no longer negate what we are doing there NOW, nor what's at stake if we flake out and depart upfront. maximum infantrymen i comprehend of, who've been in touch in this conflict, regard civilians returned abode as being a bunch of idiots, generally fascinated in this conflict basically for his or her very own petty political hobbies. The conflict itself is used as a handy rallying cry to win help of people who sense inconvenienced by a conflict they have been "compelled" to observe on television for the previous couple of years. triumphing a petty political victory returned abode isn't worth tens of millions of Iraqi lives, nor the aptitude for much greater instability in that area, and it quite is not perfect.
