Your Hdl of 80 seems high in relationship to your very high total cholestrol of 320 and ldl of 202. Are you sure about this number?

While the other levels are high and alone would require medication and diet. the heart disease risk is only 4% based on these numbers. That is low risk. (your risk level to cardiac disease is calculated by dividing the total cholesterol by the HDL level) (320 divided by 80)....

Generally speaking if your total cholesterol and ldl were this high, the hdl level is usually low. (<45)

Tremendously high readings. The total cholesterol should be half what it is, and the HDL (good stuff) is too low, while the LDL (bad artery-clogging stuff) is way too high. People with the numbers you listed should definitely be on Lipitor or one of the other statin family medications as well as strictly adhere to a diet/exercise program. This person is sitting on the treshold of stroke or heart attack.

If I remember correctly, my mom's ldl was 202 when she had her heart attack. I think you want to keep the bad cholestrol (LDL) below 200. You should see a medical expert for this. Best of luck!
