the ideal freedom that's taught in school is that doing anything you want as long as you don't compromise other's freedom too. does that work?

It certainly doesn't mean having my phone warrantlessly tapped and conversations recorded, having my rental history at the library recorded, or allowing the government to obtain medical records without a warrant.

Waking up every morning after having a good nights sleep with out fear, being free to do , say eat and see whom ever i want to . Being able to make my own decisions on what I want to eat drink wear and watch.

I DUNNO, I've become paranoid. There are no longer communists under my bed. Now we're indebted to them up to our ears and our children's ears. But it's crowded under there, with religious rightists telling me I'm gonna burn in Hell, a govt. that uses fear to keep people in line, and oh gee, Dorothy, forget the lions, the goblins are out before Halloween! Think I'm gonna need a bigger bed. "Be afraid, be very afraid." Unless you've got the hutspa to stand up to them all.

it means I am free to pursue my happiness without interference by government or any organization. that would include my right to attend Church, BTW
