Anything by John Grisham, weather it be fiction or non-fiction. When I first started reading him, it was years ago and it was "The Firm", I litterally couldn't put the book down and read it in 3 days. Since then I have read every book he has put out. He is the only author that I will buy the hard copy of the day it comes out. I've never been disapointed and it also makes watching the movies from his books even better.
Another author I like is Jackie Collins, I'm not as into her as I am Grisham but now and then she does have a page turner that I read in days...

Anything by Nora Roberts, all of her books have a way of captivating the reader. I know that when I start one of her books, I won't put it down until it is done.
Janet Evanovich has a series books 1-13 that has a wonderful character of Stephanie Plum. They are both mystery and comedy. I find myself laughing out loud while I read them.
Happy reading.

Da Vinci Code if you havent read it, or Angles and Demons if you enjoyed the DVC. Memoirs of the Geisha is a good book, so is The Birth Of Venus

Sam's Letters to Jennifer by James Patterson. Its romantic and sweet and written partly as a narrative and partly as letters. I've read it twice and I can't wait to read it again. Also, anything by Nicholas Sparks is wonderful. I recommend The Rescue and The Notebook.
