Not all emails do this but messages from one particular contact seem to always do it. Is it my problem or his?

This seems to be a problem with the other person. Ask them to do a test with someone else to see if they have the same problem.

If the problem only happens for you, then you should look at your email program options. In Outlook Express, go to the tools menu, click options and verify the options on the security tab.

If you use a different email program, you should tell us which one for further assistance.

that means that the image was not found.

This could be caused by a variety of reasons. The most important one is that the image tag is wrong. The path the image is not valid. Or the final reason that I can think of off the top of my head is that the image that the person is using is no longer on the server where it was at one time.

Hope that clears things up,
Chad
