Ve you noticed that most of the victims throw a glance every now and then at the camera and also in most scenes where the victims are shown we find the camera moving here and are the victims so dumb as not to notice. So maybe the show is a make believe done by actors.

i would have to think that either the people are very stupid or they cannot act like they cannot see a camera that is there to "catch" them in the act. As if the producers of the show said to them: "Look, we are going to try to act like that waiter over there-you know, the one who was an extra on your show last week-is going to act like he is forgetful and brings you the wrong stuff. You are going to pretend that you are getting a little worried about him because you just told him to get you water and bread sticks and he gets you a whole meal. This will be funny, trust me. And then the "manager", well, he is going to act like he sees nothing wrong. This is going to be hilarious!"
I wonder why "T.V.'s Bloopers and Practical Jokes" ever made a lasting impression. Goes to show you what powers Dick Clark actually has! I think they all have actors in it and the "victim" are in it, too!
